Sally Stitch: Placket Racket and the swappage update
Okay Kids...
I really am going to try and do my plackets first but I am not really sure what that even means!!! But I am going to try it on the next item I sew. Even if it means slowing down and concentrating.
I have a dozen swappers fabrics "in house" and I owe a couple lovely ladies some thank you emails for the bonus goodies enclosed. ( I am truly touched by your fabulous generosity but despite my mom's best efforts I continue to have the habits of a girl raised by wolves!)
I want to give everyone a chance to get their stuff in or bow out officially...
and I want to announce this swap will happen again.. ( in the "not summer") so more people can join in and not get overwhelmed!
How does she make it look so easy?!

ReplyDeleteThanks again for taking on this swapping task! I have no idea what I'll do with the fabric I receive, since I don't sew much. I just love stamping and wanted to participate! I couldn't believe I made the deadline and actually completed something on time AND without staying up all night! I think this is a first for me! sorry but my skills do not include posting pictures, so my fabric won't be seen on line. I guess it will just be a surprise!
Lovely Bitter Betty!! How the heck are ya??? xxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I ever made it in before the deadline for this swap. I never got confirmation or an address to ship the fabric to, so I assumed I was too late. Hopefully I'm not one of the people you're waiting on. I'd love to participate next time.
ReplyDeleteI did a continuous placket for the first time last year on a dress for my daughter. I was pretty nervous but it came out fine. The first time was tricky, but after that it was easy :)
