What do you get when you buy a beautiful handmade vintage sheet at a yard sale...
and you add it to an altered pj pants pattern ( amy butler's lounge pants + knee gathers - quite a few inches in length= fancy bloomers)
and throw in a hankering for some pretty little somethings to throw on under a skirt?
You get my bloomers.
Are you blushing?

I adore them! I've been wanting to make bloomers for a long time and am starting with some warm flannel ones that will largely be sleepware (like you, from a modified PJ pant pattern- mine the pattern in Weekend Sewing). They're so fantastic and great for skirts.
How adorable are you?! Off the chart.
Those are ridiculously sweet!
Now I want bloomers.
V cute, girlie! Now be careful where you show them!
Adorable! The trim from the sheets is just perfect.
LOVING the bloomers!
You stylish wench, you!
Glad the blog pony is showing you bloomers! I had bloomer pj's that I made back in the early eighties. I think I want some again! Can we bring the New Romantics? Hehe!
I LOVE those bloomers!
Lovely!
So sweet! I love the lace trim.
yes! bloomers are very important. Yours are quite lovely.
ooooh! Love the bloomers. Might need some for myself!
awww! What a cute idea -- LOVE them! They're modest AND flirty all at the same time!!! Sooooo much better than the usual boxers I throw on under my voluminous & oft unnervingly windswept-prone skirts :(
I haven't seen a pair of bloomers in ages! I love them! (I love the skirt you have on too.)
Your tutorial is up now on
Stitch and Boots- it looks really good!
i want your bloomers AND your skirt. please.
i'll send my addy.
So when are YOU going to wear them to Disneyland?
They are so cute!...but are they hot? I am all about the skirts all summer since they make things breezier...but oh how I love those bloomers!

I cannot tell you how much I love these. & given the amount of ruffle and eyelet I got at a recent craft swap, I'm going to be hunting for some bed sheets to make my own.
marvelous!
Sqweeeeeeal! They are adorable :D
