Swamped.

Well. Full Disclosure picture of The Craft Cave. Yipes. It really looks this dangerous. There have been people lost in here in avalanches and it took dogs and professionals to get them out. This needs to change and I am feeling powerless in the face of the whole 24 hours in a day thing. Who came up with that anyway? 27 and I just might be able to get organized.

I always have been quite the busy slacker!

All the other ladies from the HandMade Parade are so busy blogging and linking and all that lovely stuff but I came home to some submission deadlines and a tutorial to do and a New Vintage Wardrobe project that looked like it just might not happen... I was/ am always really late with thank you notes too.... Really, not Trying to be rude... just "socially unkempt" for certain!

But here is a quick link list for your perusal!

Thank you to all the ladies I sold to, bought from, or traded with:

Jenn of rosebud designs and indie galore
claire of little lovelies
sarah of p dot
melissa of peptogirl
vallen of queenlythings
carolyn of laughingduck
missy ballance

Full disclosure On Monday.. with Photos.....

And Get ready for May 14th...

National Wear Your Apron Out Day.

I am SO doing it.

And someday soon I hope to have an " After" shot of The Craft Cave.
(Oh please, let it happen someday!)

Now that's the kind of place I would love to get lost in... Can't wait to see the "after" shots!

It was lovely meeting you at HP! I love my obi!

What I love about that space is that, with the nice paint color and the stuff hanging prettily on the wall in the back, it is clear that you had the intention of making a nice, clean, and inspirational work space. AND THEN LIFE INTERVENED.

As the poet Robert Burns would say, "The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'men/Gang aft agley" (i.e. go oft awry). That's what thrift store shopping does to me, too.

I slammed out a post in between panicking (sp?) about all the end of year school stuff to do . At least you're honest about how complicated life really is! THANK YOU. It sure was fun to to meet up last saturday!

wowzers. that's quite a space. i really need the perfect storm of inspiration/motivation/kids-free-time to tackle a room like that.
looks chock-full-o'-goodness!

I agree with Meg, it looks like there are a ton of treasures hidden in the potential-avalanches. I especially like all the heads scattered about. It's not all bad, though, you can see some floor. :)

I'm definitely going to check out all the links. I bet they are great!

You said you were going to do it and do it your did. Take heart that my cave, living room, bedroom, laundry room all look worse.

The skirt is fabulous! You know, it's starting to look like you are never going to have to buy clothes again. Your wardrobe is definitely and entity to be envied.

Doesn't everyone already wear their aprons out?

Well, I'm not complaining, that just means there will be hundreds of other women being called Swiss Miss along with me. Who started the National Apron Wearing day thingie?

Angelina... I do believe these folks are the responsible party for the Apron Holiday:

But it is a bit hard to track.
