Made from scraps of saved lace... and rescued baubles.
I need to finish about 80 more projects in the next few days.... I have a special request for a t shirt and I want to make my mom something for her 60th birthday which is coming right up.. I need to finish my "small alter" for a swap by next Wednesday because Thursday I have a huge, all-nighter setup at work.. The next day, I will drive 4 hours to my mom's house and get my son ( yes, the boy is out of town with grandma and grandpa for two weeks, otherwise I would not be even considering such an ambitious "to-do" list) and celebrate her (my mom's) birthday with all of her friends... And because we are child free we are trying to crowd in as much grown-up fun as we can.
I can't guarantee my personal condition for my mom's birthday (given the sleepless night just prior) so I would like to arrive with a completed gift at least.
Gentlemen, start your engines.. the race against time is on....

Hello! I have been following your progress since we took our class at the "Castle" -- I sat across from you and my opinion is that I learned as much from you as from our wonderful teacher! I have sources and information about the microscope slides and the Fiskars scallop scissors if you need help with either of those.
