Friday Funny: The Recession: Ignore it, If You Can

This is from a bike shop in San Juan Capistrano... Via my husband...

I appreciated the sentiment. Not everyone will be able to ignore the recession.
But everyone who can, probably should.

My family life and daily existence is so full of good stuff not to mention how busy we are all becoming with the holidays approaching that I just don't have time to even think about recession. To look at my little family we are just hitting our stride. We have a warm place to sleep, food on our plates, smiles and giggles on our faces and a room full of yarn. I am perfectly content to let the world whirl by and not see all the unhappy in it.

I have been thinking for a long time that much of this is all in our heads or at least in the heads of the media...certainly there are those who are hurting, but the daily media blitz on how bad it is, was and will be it just plain dumb. I too am going to be too busy for a recession! Thanks for sharing this sign!

Heh,

I just wanted to say, I've only just found your blog via blog jumping, and when I find a new blog I generally read all the way back to the beginning, however, your blog doesn't have a previous page button at the bottom, I know I can go via the monthly archives, but those buttons down the bottom are SO much easier lol...

In the book The Creative Class he talks about how creatives are much less affected by recessions than regular office Joes (and Josies). I believe it completely.

Oh my gosh, that is totally my M.O!

Not talking about it, not listening to talk about it, not believing in it.

Sorry dudes, not participating in this recession (if there is such a thing, la la).
